A leaf of a banana tree in my late-grandfather’s backyard in Lagos. This photo was captured in the July of 2016, my second trip to my motherland of Nigeria. My grandfather past away maybe a week after this photo was taken but these leaves, to me, call me back to a time when we were all together.
